Where
are the Guildford Society Stores?
The
Guildford Allotment Society stores (run by the Stoke & District Horticultural Society) are located
on the Bellfields site, Bellfields Lane, behind
the Stoke and District Horticultural Society
Halls. The stores are open from mid February
to end of October and are available to all
GAS Tenants.
When
are the Stores open?
The
stores are open between 10am and 12 noon on
Sundays. There is a good stock of composts, netting,
fleece, bamboo canes, seeds as well as some
pesticides and organic fertilizers and pest
control items. Ever popular potato and onion
set ordering commences in February for deliveries
from March onwards.
Why
purchase from the Stores?
These stores sell bags of allotment necessities such as lime. Most gardening shops sell small boxes only. All
stock is available at discounted prices, (advice
is always free), so please support them. |
